The Challenge

Saverglass needed a steady flow of qualified leads, fast. Sales representatives could not keep spending time researching accounts and writing bespoke first touches for every prospect. Marketing had to keep personalization on brand, prove impact, and create a cleaner feedback loop for what works across countries. In short, generate new leads urgently while cutting the time spent on research and drafting.

Solution

Saverglass asked Like Reply to design an approach that combines commercial efficiency, automation, and large-scale personalization. We set up an external prospect-theme extraction pipeline to capture website signals and brand cues, then applied brand guardrails to generate short, representative-specific snippets. Those snippets are injected into Oracle Eloqua, where Signature Rules send each email from the correct salesperson and apply the approved signature at scale. Sales uses Engage and Profiler for trackable follow-ups with recent activity context, and weekly reviews tune templates, sender rules, and scoring so the system keeps performing without extra admin.

Saverglass is a specialist in designing, manufacturing, and decorating high-end glass bottles for premium, super-premium, and prestige spirits and wines, combining the roles of manufacturer and decorator.

With factories and offices across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and key production regions such as Mexico, the Caribbean/Central America, Australia–New Zealand, and South Africa, its commercial reach is broad and fast-moving. The portfolio spans extensive bottle lines and advanced decoration techniques, which are often tailored by market and brand tier.

Given this breadth, first-touch relevance and controlled brand voice are critical, centralized orchestration with localized messaging helps maintain speed and consistency across regions and product ranges.

What we built in Eloqua

Inside Oracle Eloqua, we built a tight workflow that starts with prospect scanning: for each target account, a lightweight pass extracts recurring website themes and brand cues, then stores them as structured fields so they can drive segmentation and templating without manual rewriting. Signature delivery happens at scale using Eloqua Signature Rules, which dynamically assign each contact to the correct sales representative during batch sends and insert the approved signature content, with safe fallbacks for unmatched contacts – exactly what Signature Rules are designed to do in Eloqua. On the sales-ops side, we align follow-up by enabling Eloqua Sales Tools: Engage gives reps marketing-approved, trackable emails, Profiler exposes recent activities and context, and sales prioritization views (the “smart list” concept used by sales) keep attention on the right contacts; Outlook and Chrome add-ins keep this accessible in daily tools. Finally, governance and measurement are built in copy blocks follow brand guardrails, campaigns run on the Campaign Canvas with clear decision logic, and multiple lead-scoring models are configured and iterated by region or product, so reps focus on genuine intent while marketing reviews performance and tunes thresholds.

Implementation steps

Discovery and rules of engagement

We start by mapping sales territories, ownership rules, and sender-of-record policies so every contact can be tied to the right rep. In parallel, we codify brand-safe topics and exclusions that the personalization layer must respect. The output is a decision table that drives sender selection and guards the tone and content used downstream.

For each target account, we configure a lightweight site/theme capture that produces structured fields (topics, product cues, brand language). These fields are normalized to live comfortably alongside Eloqua contact and custom object data so they can be used in segmentation and templating. The result is usable metadata that can be dropped into emails without manual rewriting.

We build a modular copy library with short, swappable blocks (hook, proof point, CTA) and guardrails that enforce brand rules. Blocks are parameterized to accept the structured fields from the extractor, keeping the copy specific but on-brand. Legal and compliance rules are embedded in the templates so reps don’t need to improvise.

Inside Eloqua, we implement Signature Rules to map each recipient to the correct salesperson automatically during batch sends, with a default sender for unmatched cases. Sender profiles, shared assets, and campaign flows are configured and QA’d to ensure messages render correctly and route through the right sender at scale. Signature Rules are created and managed in Eloqua under Assets → Email Setup → Signature Rules.

We turn on rep-facing tools and prioritization views so sales can see who engaged and act quickly, and we enable tracked outreach where needed. Eloqua’s Sales Tools (Profiler, Engage, prioritization views) give reps activity context and consistent on-brand email options without leaving their workflow, including Outlook add-ins where applicable. This closes the loop between marketing sends and human follow-up.

We review opens, CTR, and lead-stage movement weekly, then adjust templates, segments, and sender mappings accordingly. Lead scoring thresholds and criteria are tuned so reps see fewer, better leads, and new models can be activated when regions or product lines diverge. Changes are shipped in small increments to keep the program stable while improving impact.
