But, why Everywhere?
Because it allows to sell everywhere, including AI-based channels!
And this is the flagship announcement of this edition: the introduction of Agentic Commerce, a new sales model used from AI assistants to search and discover products across Shopify stores, compare products based on price, recommend the best product and guide the customers to checkout to finalize the purchase.

Shopify introduced so a new infrastructure based on:

• An AI-ready catalog, so the AI agents can have product’s structured information
• An AI-ready channel distribution, so the merchants can decide to make their products available to AI-agents
• A new dashboard to show to merchant the shopping experiences coming from AI channels (for example, the traffic, the orders,..)
• A set of recommendations to improve the product visibility in the AI answers

In Everywhere, a significant enhancement is represented by Sidekick, the Shopify AI assistant.
In this new version Sidekick has been improved, so now it can:

• Analyze store performance and suggest actions to optimize it
• Access data from 3-party APPS
• Support store management with more context

One of features in Everywhere is also Rollouts that allows to release progressive and controlled changes to the store – like, for example, schedule theme updates. A native A/B Testing can allow tests on themes, customer accounts and checkout without use third-party apps.

Furthermore, there are several enhancements for deployers that allow them to creare custom applications.
Thus, new updates have been introduced to Shopify Functions (that allow developers to customize store’s business logic at the server level), Hydrogen (the framework for headless e-commerce based on React) improvements, new APIs are expanded so developers can access to more platform capabilities, AI commerce development supports AI-agents.

These are just a few of the many new features introduces in Shopify Edition Spring 26.
